ARENAL HIKE TOUR

Service Description

On this hike we will travel from downtown San Jose through the beautiful area of La Fortuna in Alajuela to visit an area which is recognized for it stunning and amazing Volcano Arenal. With a high of 1670m.a.s.l and beautiful conical shape. We will start our tour through the trails of an ecological park. also walk by a marvelous natural lake and then rich the old lava flows and viewpoints of this great volcano and the arenal lake. After the hike we will take a free time and choose between the Paddle Board or Kayak or just relax by the lake and enjoy the nature. Finally we will go the famous hot springs, have lunch and relax. Discover the most hidden gems of Costa Rica located in a remote valley between the volcano, lakes and the richness of the natural forest. Come join me. One trip. So many ways to explore. Distance: 8 km approx. (A shorter or longer distance can be arranged if previously requested, as long as it is within the same time schedule) Duration: 15 hours Difficulty: Easy / Medium Departure: 5:30 a.m. Note: The terrain on this hike includes dirt roads, mountain trails through rain forest paths and along streams and rocks of the lava flows.
